Who are we?
My name is Bryan Martin and I am blessed to say that the beautiful lady beside me is my wife Maria. We have four healthy and happy children. Frederick (Freddie) is ten and loves trains; Aria is seven and loves all princesses and pretty; Evelyn is four and loves trains and princesses equally; Isabella is one and loves all things that go brrrrmm. We are members at Living Waters Mennonite Church in Reinholds, PA.
We are Christians, we believe that Jesus was born, crucified, and rose again for our salvation. We believe that many people in the world have never heard of Jesus, why He came, or what His death has accomplished. We feel called to work in mission aviation, by becoming a mechanic and pilot to reach those that are hardest to reach, with the gospel, medicine, and food. That’s who we are, now see what we are doing.
What are we doing?
We live in Lusaka, Zambia, working for a Christian Ministry called Flying Mission Zambia. We are serving as a mechanic family during our first term, and Lord willing, a pilot/mechanic during our second term.
So why did we move our family of six, 7700 miles away?

Why did we do this?
This is actually the simple part, I feel called. I was at Mission Aviation Fest at Smokestown airport roughly 16 years ago. It was there and then that I felt God press on my heart the need for missionary aircraft and the need for those who can fly and fix them. I was stubborn for a long time, and not trusting that God would provide the needed funds for training, housing, and ramen noodles. But God worked anew on my heart in 2019 and after months of evaluations, support raising, and baby having, we are here.
There are over a billion people alive today that do not have access to all-season roads. To understand a billion, a stack of dollar bills a billion tall would tower 67.9 miles. That’s a lot of people! How many of them have the gospel? Understand it? How many of them have medicine to save their babies from dying of diarrhea? Planes are, for the most part, the most expensive form of travel, but…. What is the value of a soul? What would you want the Christian church to be doing if you, your spouse, or your children never heard of Christ? Please pray for the unreached, for those that never heard of Jesus.
